Our very own Kenneth Kwesiga, Chief Executive Officer of ioTec Limited, proudly represented the innovation ecosystem at the Credit Data, Referencing & Innovation Symposium held on Thursday, 20th November, at Mestil Hotel in Kampala. The symposium convened industry leaders, financial experts, and innovators to examine how credit data is shaping the future of finance and promoting smarter, more inclusive lending.
The discussions underscored the critical role of credit data in enabling informed financial decision-making. Through advanced data analytics and predictive modeling, financial institutions are enhancing risk assessment, streamlining approval processes, and improving customer experience. These innovations are expanding access to financial services, particularly for underserved and previously excluded communities.
Kenneth emphasized the importance of responsible innovation, noting that as access to credit datagrows, ethical data usage, privacy
protection, and trust must remain central. Strong governance frameworks are essential to ensuring that data-driven solutions are sustainable and beneficial to all stakeholders.
At the National ICT Innovation Hub, we are proud to see innovators from our ecosystem actively contributing to high-level discussions that influence policy, industry practices, and financial inclusion. Kenneth’s participation reflects the quality of leadership emerging from our innovation community and reaffirms our commitment to supporting solutions that deliver lasting economic and social impact.
