Uganda Showcases Innovation and Investment Opportunities at Thailand Business Forum 2025

The Ministry of ICT & National Guidance joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Uganda, at the Pearl of Africa Business Forum & Expo 2025, Thailand Chapter, held in Bangkok. The forum brought together government leaders, investors, and development partners to explore new avenues for deepening Uganda–Thailand economic cooperation.

Representing the National ICT Innovation Hub, our Team Lead participated in discussions and networking sessions focused on ICT, innovation, and digital transformation opportunities. This engagement allowed the Hub to showcase Uganda’s growing digital ecosystem, highlighting how innovation and technology can drive economic growth and foster international partnerships.

During the Forum, Uganda presented investment opportunities across four key sectors: tourism, agro-industrialization, ICT & innovation, and minerals, while also emphasising the country’s competitive advantages, strategic incentives for investors, and access to over 500 million consumers through regional markets. Panel discussions, government-to-government sessions, and business-to-business engagements provided a platform to forge collaborations that can strengthen trade and technology partnerships between Uganda and Thailand.

The National ICT Innovation Hub’s presence at the forum reflects our commitment to positioning Uganda as a hub for technological innovation, attracting foreign partnerships, and fostering an ecosystem that supports startups, innovators, and digital entrepreneurs.

Uganda continues to demonstrate its readiness to collaborate globally, and the Innovation Hub is proud to contribute to this mission by connecting local innovation with international opportunities.
